Societe Generale donates computers to support Ghana Police Transformation Agenda


Societe Generale Ghana has donated Twenty (20) Desktop computers to the Ghana Police Service at the National Police Headquarters on Tuesday, 4th September, 2018.

The donation was delivered by the Managing Director of Societe Generale, Mr. Hakim Ouzzani and accompanied by other members of the Bank.

Mr. Hakim Ouzzani indicated that his outfit has had a great relationship with the Ghana Police Service since its existence in the country. “Societe Generale Ghana has an excellent relationship with the Ghana Police Service and has over the years supported the Ghana Police Nationwide as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.”

Mr. Hakim added that it is part of the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility to support the Ghana Police Service and partner the Police in the fight against crime in the country.

On his part, the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. David Asante-Apeatu expressed his utmost gratitude to Societe Generale for responding to their call at such a critical moment.

Mr. Asante-Apeatu further disclosed that the Ghana Police Service is undergoing a Transformation to become a world class Police Service capable of delivering planned, democratic, protective and peaceful services up to the standard of the international best practices.‘ To achieve this, there is the need to go digital’- he stressed.

He concluded that the donation of these computers will go a long way to help in the Transformation Agenda.
