DIRECTOR-GENERAL WELFARE

The Director-General, Welfare shall report to the IGP on the following:

1. Rules and regulations on gender issues;
2. Effective operation of the various welfare schemes including loans, bereavements, hospital, burial of personnel, etc;
3. Police Band, Chaplaincy, Sports and Cafeteria Units;
4. Medical needs of personnel;
5. Awards and citations for meritorious service(s) of personnel;
6. Survival benefit documents (reviewing nomination forms);
7. Insurance scheme;
8. Boarding of medically unfit personnel;
9. Cases of compulsory retirements, dismissals, resignations, transfers, promotions etc. of other ranks; and
10. Any other duty as assigned by the IGP.
