DIRECTOR GENERAL/CID VISITS FAMILY AND CRIME SCENE OF MURDERED AHMED HUSSEIN-SUALE

On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, the Director General/CID, DCOP/Mrs. MYT Addo-Danquah with some officials of the CID management and officers from the Masdina Divisional Police Command paid a visit to the family of late Ahmed Hussein-Suale and the scene of incident.

The team was welcome on arrival by the head of family in the person of Dagomba Chief of Madina, Abdulai Issa Munkaila together with some family members.

The purpose of the visit was to access the crime scene and to assure the family of thorough Police investigations into the matter to unravel the killers of Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

Speaking on behalf of Director General/CID, the Director/CID Operations, ACP/Mr. Joseph Gyamera Oklu expressed the CID Administrations’ condolences to the bereaved family and asked for effective collaboration between the family and the Police in terms of information flow as this will go a long way to assist investigations.

The Dagomba chief of Madina, Abdulai Issa Munkaila representing the head of family expressed his appreciation to the Police Administration for such high powered delegation following up on the matter and to access the situation relating to the death of their son and subsequently assuring them  of thorough investigations to get the perpetrators of Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

The Director General/CID and her team proceeded to the scene of incident about 100 meters away from the family house to access the scene of crime. The team thereafter visited the widows of the deceased and expressed their condolences.

The public are assured of periodic updates of this unfortunate incident and other cases of public interest.

Director General/CID, DCOP/Mrs. MYT Addo-Danquah was accompanied by Director/CID Operations, ACP/Mr. Joseph Gyamera Oklu, Madina Divisional Police Command, ACP/Mr. Afriyie Sakyi, Madina District Police Commander, C/Supt/Mr. Martin Appiah, Madina Divisional Crime Officer, C/Supt/Mr. Alex Asamoah Frimpong.

The rest are Director/Homicide, Supt/Mr. Hanson Gove, Madina District Crime Officer, DSP/Mr. Yaw Dzansi, Director/Public Affairs Unit, DSP Olivia Turkson.
