The protective gears given to the military should also be given to the police (bullet proof jackets, uniforms, boots etc). On a few occasions, I have seen policemen buying boots from vendors at the road side. This shouldn’t happen. The administration should ensure that uniforms and equipment are provided just as is done for the military
