In his remarks, he stated that Ghana Police Service (GPS) which is constitutionally mandated to provide security to both businesses and the citizenry have effectively discharged their duties over the years making Ghana attractive and serene for businesses to operate without fear. Adding that, the far cry of the service has been the inadequacy of logistics to facilitate the effective performance of their constitutional mandate of providing internal security more effectively. This challenge he says, was a major highlight in a recent discussion between Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service and Metropolitan Life Insurance. It is against this background that the company decided to support the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) with two brand new Suzuki GE110 motorcycles to facilitate their patrols and effective investigative assignments.

Receiving the motor cycles on behalf of the Criminal Investigations Department, Director of Operations/CID ACP Mr. Joseph Eklu Gyamera expressed the Police Administrations’ appreciation to Metropolitan Life Insurance for this gesture.
