DIRECTOR-GENERAL RESEARCH & PLANNING<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1637780582058{margin-top: 30px !important;}”]The Director-General, Research and Planning shall be responsible to the IGP for the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Conduct research into all units of the Service and make recommendations;<\/li>\n
  2. Liaise with schedule officers to draw up plans for effective and efficient performance;<\/li>\n
  3. Review a realistic organizational structure of the Service;<\/li>\n
  4. Develop a format for production of a comprehensive annual report for the Service;<\/li>\n
  5. Develop and review effective human resource data base system for the Service;<\/li>\n
  6. Carry out periodic manpower auditing for research purposes;<\/li>\n
  7. Carry out periodic Police equipment\/logistic auditing;<\/li>\n
  8. Research into various community policing projects for comparison and adoption;<\/li>\n
  9. Liaise with Police consultants and other stakeholders on contemporary policing on research issues (NGOs, and other forms of aid);<\/li>\n
  10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the IGP.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
