DIRECTOR, PUBLIC AFFAIRS DIRECTORATE (PAD)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1637781674673{margin-top: 30px !important;}”]The Director-General, PAD is responsible to the IGP for the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Provide strategic policy advice on internal and external communications, media and community relations to project a positive image of the Service;<\/li>\n
  2. Provide communication guidance and support to all Regional and Unit Commanders in Police Operations;<\/li>\n
  3. Provide guidance and build the capacity of Communications and Public Affairs Officers to ensure the highest standard of performance and discipline;<\/li>\n
  4. Provide leadership and control over all Regional and Unit Public Affairs Officers in coordination with the relevant Commanders;<\/li>\n
  5. Identify the training needs of Communications and Public Affairs Officers and make recommendations to the IGP;<\/li>\n
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the IGP.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
